Topgolf is seeking a Superhero of Technology Leadership to blaze strategic and cultural trails at one of the fastest growing and most exciting companies around. Each Topgolf location in the US and UK features an impressive food and beverage menu, music, games, technology-rich hitting bays, and a huge Audio/Visual installation. We are constantly improving upon guest experiences at our venues and are looking for a driver and coach to make it happen.
The purpose of this leadership role within our Technology Innovation (TI) organization is to lead a team made up of a few internal technology professionals and many external technology suppliers that together service the needs of our Finance, HR and Legal corporate departments.
Additionally, this person will lead several centralized control functions for the benefit of the entire TI organization. This includes TI Financial Controls, Audits & Compliance, Vendor Management and Change Management.
This leader will be accountable for budget, planning, performance, and culture – within the group and also across the larger Topgolf team. The role reports to the Topgolf Entertainment Group Chief Technology Officer and is permanently based in Dallas, Texas with a little domestic travel required at times. You will work directly with our CFO, VP of HR, General Counsel and their teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• As the leader of Corporate and Control TI functions at Topgolf, this individual will leverage their own deep people and project management expertise and that of internal/external team members to:
◦ Strategically identify priorities and effectively balance the resources and needs of our Corporate TI stakeholders.
◦ Effectively communicate with stakeholders, team members and across other technology teams. Seriously strong communication is what we need.
◦ Inspire our people and our partners. The person hired into this role will have a diverse and dispersed team that when inspired can deliver amazing outcomes.
◦ Grow our people. We are making an intentional decision to focus on career planning and growth, feedback and coaching.
◦ Collaborate with stakeholders to validate assumptions, and potentially organize or develop requirements.
◦ Build, maintain and deliver the total TI budget, OpEx and CapEx, partnering with Topgolf Finance.
◦ Work closely with Topgolf Procurement to establish disciplined TI vendor management processes and ensure compliance while maintaining great vendor partnerships.
◦ Establish TI best practices for pragmatic controls working closely with Topgolf Risk Management.
◦ Own the process keys to our production environments, safe guarding our associate and guest experiences with the best thought out and tested changes.
◦ Establish and lead best practices that enable the Topgolf functions to easily absorb and quickly benefit from the numerous technology changes being rolled out.
• As a member of the Technology Innovation senior leadership team, this role will collaborate in setting and implementing the overall organizational vision, taking personal responsibility for any needs observed across the larger team – especially as they pertain to our people.

Key Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE:
• 1+ years in technology roles, in corporate domains, as well as significant exposure around the business
• 9+ years’ in a director role (or equivalent senior leadership role)
• Proven project management and people leadership experience, ideally in the hospitality and/or restaurant industry
• Experience working with and implementing solutions for leaders from various departments – can’t be a one trick pony!
• Experience with software as a service solutions for corporate functions
• Proven ability to influence and lead others in a multi-team environment

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
