The EOU Sports Information Director for Media Relations and Event Management is responsible for providing support to the Department of Athletics/Recreation. This includes publications development, press releases, a strong presence through social media, video production, event management, media coordination, web page creation and site maintenance. This position will design a marketing platform and promote athletic programs through various platforms, including radio, print, television, YouTube, social media sites, and more. Manage and oversee all game day activities including event promotions, personnel coordination and supervision, live stream, media contact, and all game day operations. Manage athletic contest statistics using various programs including Dakstats, Stat Crew, Hy-Tek T/F.
Bachelor’s Degree and direct or transferable experience to the job of the Sports Information Director.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in the field of sports information/marketing.
