The State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill is an accredited polytechnic college that is primarily baccalaureate and residential. Job Description
SUNY Cobleskill is seeking a highly motivated candidate to work in the Department of Sport and Exercise leading the college's women's soccer team and directing campus recreation programs.
Responsibilities for the day to day operations for the women's soccer program include but are not exclusive to:
1. planning, managing, and overseeing team practices 2. game day administration and contest management 3. recruiting prospective student athletes 4. providing direct supervision and direction to Assistant Coaches
The candidate will also direct the college's Recreation and Intramural program. Currently the college offers programming including: Zumba, Intramural Volleyball, Intramural Softball, Intramural Bowling, and various one day activities during the school year. There is room for growth in this area and the college is open to new and exciting ideas.

Responsibilities for the Recreation Director include but are not exclusive to:
1. coordination of all recreation and intramural events, field trips, and special events in collaboration of other offices on campus.
Finally, the candidate will also serve as the Summer Camp Coordinator. Camps are generally run during the month of July and include camps in specific sports, science, agriculture, and equine. The responsibilities of the Summer Camp Coordinator include but are not exclusive to:
1. camp participant registration and coordination 2. program scheduling, ordering supplies and completing a safety plan 3. following and administering SUNY Cobleskill's child protection policy, housing requests, and coordinating meals for all camp participants.

Minimum Requirements
• Master's degree in Physical Education, Recreation, Sports Management or related field
• 3-5 years of college coaching responsibilities in the field of women's soccer
• 2 - 3 years experience in recreation and summer camps
Preferred Qualifications
In addition the aforementioned minimum qualifications, the ideal candidate will have:
• Experience providing overall administration to summer camp programs
NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: 1. This is a full time, 12-month position. 2. The salary grade for this position is SL-3. Salary range for this position is $44,000 - $48,000. 3. The schedule for this position is primarily evenings and weekends. 4. This position offers full New York State benefits which are among the most comprehensive in the country.
