This position is based in Las Vegas, the UFC’s hometown and the Fight Capital of the World. Their office consists of people who are passionate, dedicated and innovative. The Marketing Partnerships Director, Multi-Cultural will generate revenue by selling across the portfolio of UFC U.S. and Latin American entities. This position is responsible for building relationships with high-level corporate partners and securing sponsorships, focusing on budgets allocated to Hispanic customers. Additionally, this position executes all aspects of corporate sponsorship sales including: prospecting new business, developing new business and potential partners, closing new business and fulfilling advertising and sponsorship packages through strategic selling techniques
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drives revenue growth through the creation of new sellable marketing programs, identification of sales targets and development of sales strategies.
2. Achieves annual sales goals determined by UFC global management.
3. Prospects and develops new business, including cold-calling.
4. Negotiates and closes new business across UFC U.S. and Latin American assets.
5. Supports renewal process for each partner contract and identifies/pursues additional revenue opportunities.
6. Oversees transfer of the executive partnership programs to the Partnership Activation group to ensure UFC’s compliance with contractual obligations.
7. Overcomes client objections with value-added solutions to consistently close sales.
8. Maintains a pipeline of prospects to achieve annual quotas.
9. Manages internal and external sales process while reporting and updating SVP, Marketing Partnerships on a regular basis.
10. Works cooperatively with other UFC global sales staff, helping to achieve overall company goals.
11. Maintains information and research on target-specific categories.
12. Manages and grows relationships with partners through contact with client and their agencies.
13. Communicates key issues internally via status reports and meeting updates.
14. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, activation best practices and new media marketing efforts.
15. Attends business review meetings with each partner on a regular basis.
16. Leverages UFC departments to enhance programs.
17. Analyzes client needs and budgets and presents unique value propositions using all inventories.
18. Reports on all sales activity on a weekly basis or upon request.
19. Assumes other duties as assigned by the SVP, Marketing Partnerships.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Business, Marketing or Sports Management preferred.
2. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of agency, team or league-based sponsorship sales experience within the sports industry, with an emphasis on the Hispanic community.
3. Experience managing the development and implementation of partnership marketing strategy.
4. Experience with marketing platform integration (retail, digital, event, hospitality, etc.), on-site event marketing operations and logistics preferred.
5. Significant relationships/contacts in the regional and national marketplace (client and agencies).
6. Ability to determine the best offering from the UFC portfolio based on prospect/client’s current marketing initiatives.
7. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, client-service environment.
8. Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
9. Superior communication skills, collaborative with strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
10. Demonstrated ability to manage and cultivate relationships.
11. Highest level of integrity and ethics, both professional and personal.
12. Ability to organize and prioritize work, while working independently.

14. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally when needed.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and the ability to learn other basic computer programs.
