This position reports to the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and works in conjunction with the compliance staff to implement NCAA, Atlantic Coast Conference and Boston College regulations for all 31 intercollegiate sports. Primary responsibilities include development and coordination of rules education initiatives and monitoring and oversight of the recruiting process (e.g., official/unofficial visits, recruiting logs, expense reports). Additional responsibilities include supervision of initial eligibility and the NCAA Eligibility Center, execution of the National Letter of Intent and monitoring coaching limitations.
Position Details: Department: 011001 - Athletics General Position: 00000257 - Assistant/ Associate Director, Compliance & Recruiting- Athletics Grade: 2ND
*Assistant level: 2-3 years of experience in the area of intercollegiate athletics compliance
*Associate level:At least 4 years of experience in the area of intercollegiate athletics compliance
For both:
*Bachelor's degree
*All candidates must possess a high degree of integrity, strong communication skills and sound working knowledge of word processing, data base and spreadsheet systems.
*Must be able to foster positive working relationships with all constituencies.
Preferred:
Master's degree is preferred
This position will be expected to perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with all NCAA, ACC and Institutional rules.
