As a Director of Software Development for store integration, you will be a part of the larger technical leadership community within 7-Eleven. Along with your peers, you will play a key role in business planning, working closely with executives to develop product goals and resource requirements, and influence long-term product strategy.
Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with a team of diverse thinkers.
• Participate in planning and architectural discussions.
• Work closely with cross-functional team members including product and project management to ensure high quality, on time software product delivery.
• Drive innovative, mission-critical design and architecture using log streams and micro-services.
• Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment of use cases and solutions partnering with all relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelors/4 Year Degree
Experience:
• 10 + years
• Field Operations, Continuous Improvement, Process Management.
• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Sharepoint, and Outlook.
• Strong leadership skills focused on conflict management, communication, and talent development.
• Demonstrated experience in process development and management.
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Expert written and verbal communication skills.
• A “can do” attitude.
• Hands-on technical leadership.
• At least ten years of hands-on software development experience in building highly scalable high availably systems.
• Desire to learn and apply new technologies.
• Creative thinking and ability to share new ideas to advance or create objectives.
