You will be a key leader on the PB Brand Merchandising team responsible for developing business strategies to optimize retail channel performance. You demonstrate a passion for the retail customer and are obsessed with the details that ensure our brand and the products optimize sales and inspire the customer to purchase. You can balance strategic thinking with operational execution and can easily collaborate to get to the best outcome. You thrive on the pressure to deliver clear, timely communication to achieve daily flawless execution. You're an advocate for the Stores and represent their insights and obstacles.

OPTIMIZE PB Brand Retail Sales, Margin & Profitability:
• Captain store tiering
• Identify the strategic use of store space to optimize Brand demand sales by size of store
Identify incremental categories to distort to drive sales
• Develop recommendations on stocking versus RTC strategies by store tier
• Provide retail analysis and space productivity seasonally
• Innovate and continuously improve the success of the Shop Keeper program.
• Supply seasonal post mortem analysis and feature productivity
• Review pricing strategy and drive margin through target pricing and competitive placement
• Partner with allocations to operationalize tiering strategies.
Facilitate retail channel execution
• Lead and coordinate cross functional teams to deliver on retail milestones, FLR and seasonal floor sets on time.
• Resolve conflicts in FLR on space allocation by category and decide what is best to drive business results
• Partner with visual merchandising to plan floor layouts and with DMM's to seasonally map the stores.
• Review lifestyle 7-15 and solve for exceptions
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies, standard templates and ensure alignment
DRIVE Retail Promo/Markdown execution:
• Represent Retail at Promo Strategy meetings, and cascade decisions/information.
• Review, approve and streamline promo signage requests
• Contribute to flawless execution of retail promotions
• Review markdown strategies to maximize margins and clear end of season inventory.
• Coordinate promo signage and communication.
• Contribute to the weekly District Manager call and appropriately field questions
• Reconcile clearance and complete feature reviews making floor map adjustments as needed
ENTREPRENURIAL Spirit- 'Act like an owner'
• Participate in key company strategic initiatives and steering committees.
• Retail generalist, resource for others on channel execution and operations
• Develop integrated solutions through collaboration and proactive communication with stores
• Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer solutions
• Partner with RVP/DMMs and provide quick response to requests and issues
• Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, far beyond what is in your job description
• Attend and contribute to retail fleet reviews and store design meetings
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in business or related field
• Buying/Merchandising expertise with 10-15 years experience
• Ability to analyze sales performance and glean strategies from the data
• Ability to work cross functionally and influence others
• Premium hard goods merchandising experience preferred, with demonstrated successes combining function and fashion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated retail experience with a proven track record of success getting work completed on time
• You have knowledge of project management
• You have superior computer skills including business applications such as MS Windows and MS Office including Excel, Word and Access
