Job Description
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to report on KPIs and make recommendations to suppliers in order to increase supply chain efficiencies and perform the period end financial and performance reporting. The position also mentors the three Analysts within the Vendor Compliance department. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
• Perform root cause analysis and compare metrics to determine suppliers with the most inefficient shipping behavior based on trends determined from scorecard information. Use this analysis to prompt supplier collaboration and drive efficient and sustainable shipping practices.
• Mentor, coach and train Analyst, Vendor Compliance by communicating job expectations and productivity standards.
• Serve as the primary trainer on Vendor Compliance metrics, proper reporting, and processes for the Distribution Center network.
• Maintain and assist with the maintenance of the vendor contact database, vendor communication and files, the vendor scorecard web site, the Vendor Supply Chain Guide, and any other necessary components of the Vendor Management/Compliance Program.
• Interact with suppliers to resolve issues regarding the Vendor Management/Compliance Program as issues and disputes are escalated through the Analysts.
• Research supplier-disputed resolution fees
• Act as project lead on Vendor Management/Compliance Program strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain documentation of Vendor Management/Compliance Program tasks, processes and methodologies.
• Serve as contact person for Vendor Management/Compliance Program technical issues and processes.
• Provide proactive tactical and strategic support to Vendor Compliance Analysts on tactical matters, escalated vendor inquiries/issues, training opportunities, job aids, job tools, etc.
• Manage the RA ERROR and CORP ERROR E-form processes and train Vendor Compliance Analysts on verifying E-form accuracy, completing online adjustments, resolving technical problems, etc.; develop procedures and training documents as needed.
Experience / Requirements
Five (5) years' of experience in the collection and administration of data, supply chain, logistics required.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Supply Chain, Business required.
