Senior Director – InfoSec - Cybersecurity & Incident Management
Reports directly to Walmart’s CISO - Chief Information Security Officer
As a key member of the Global Information Security team, the Incident Response leader will oversee incident response, security operations, data assurance, and cyber intelligence functions which are responsible for protecting customer, associate and company data for Walmart Globally. This leader develops strategies for all security incident management technology to allow for change and growth; ensuring solutions are fully leveraged. This leader will coach, motivate and strategically develop the current team of 100 professionals. Responsible for designing, managing and allocating resources to various security programs and offering key assistance to Walmart global security and Walmart executives in the event of a security incident and subsequent investigation. A successful security incident management leader will be a student of a changing, growing business; proactively recommending viable solutions that meet Walmart’s information security needs. The best will embrace our culture of servant leadership and cross-team collaboration; working closely with other cross-functional teams and leaders. The role requires a strong leader who loves technology and loves leading people – and will help us evolve as technology and the business changes.
Excellence in:
Technology: Deeply technical. Strong in networking, network security, operating systems, applications and forensics.
Leadership: Set the tone for a focused, calm, and quiet incident management team environment. Develop and lead a committed, dependable 100 member team. Maintain technical credibility with the team.
Information Security Expertise: Increases the teams security expertise by enhancing own knowledge through learning opportunities; maintaining expertise of enterprise technologies and trends.
Experience leading security incident management in a large enterprise where you work horizontally with other security operations teams.
Talent: Attract and retain high performing talent. Engage with talent in the InfoSec community and market.
Communication and Relationships: with a diverse set of global business partners
Education/Certifications: College degree and information security certifications preferred including but not limited to: CISSP, GCIH, CSIH, OSCP
