Job Description
As the Director of E-Commerce at Raymour & Flanigan, you will craft, build and own the user experience for raymourflanigan.com. Sitting at the center of our fast-growing ecommerce business, you will partner with leaders from Marketing, Merchandising, Development and Sales and report to the Vice President of E-Commerce to drive our shared vision of a wonderfully satisfying shopping experience. At the intersection of art and analytics, you'll find immense success in this role.
Responsibilities
• Lead and inspire a team of UX designers and analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to brand and launch new home décor ecommerce websites
• Champion data-informed, user-centered design where the goals of the user and the business are brought together to form seamless solutions
• Lead design from concept to final execution, producing initial research, sketches, wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and performance data following launch
• Provide detailed specifications of design solutions to be consumed by development teams
• Implement proven A/B testing strategies to drive increases in cart size and conversion rates
• Develop omni-channel UX framework guidelines to create synergistic and consistent user experiences that mirror or enhance the in-store experience.

• A self-educator who loves staying current with trends in UX, analytics and ecommerce
• A self-starter who identifies opportunities for improvement and acts upon them
Education and Experience
• We are looking for an expert to come in with a playbook of strategies and techniques that can be deployed to drive continued growth
• Portfolio work with your process clearly described, including: customer research, problem definition, early sketching, concept refinement and delivery and success measurement
• Comfort in conducting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative research at scale, including usability testing, stakeholder interviewing, and conversion analysis
• High degree of experience with Sketch and/or Adobe, and familiarity with prototyping tools such as InVision
• Expertise with web analytics research tools to drive decision making
• Detailed knowledge of various ecommerce vendors and service providers with a preferred list of proven companies for various tasks
• Experience managing multiple internal resources, direct reports and third party vendors
• We hold a strong preference for local candidates
• 5+ years of designing and testing web and mobile experiences
