The Vice President is accountable for providing financial leadership for our multi-brand, multi-channel global business. This role is responsible for the Global P&L, leadership of the Finance team, and the strategic partnership with the Global Executive Team and with our Corporate Finance partners. This leader reports to the Executive Vice President, Global and is based in San Francisco, California.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set the strategic direction for developing long range plans and financial targets which are aligned across our company-owned and franchise businesses.
• Oversee all global financial processes to ensure accurate and compliant reporting, improve financial discipline and to develop insights about business performance.
• Provide financial analysis including ROIs for the development and launch of new businesses.
• Communicate clear financial direction, reporting and action items across the business.
• Lead the finance team in all aspects of strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and month end close process.
• Collaborate with Global colleagues:
• Inventory Planning and Merchandising teams for sales and margin strategies and promotions;
• Global E-commerce and Marketing team for marketing investment strategies.
• Partner with corporate FP&A and Accounting on all aspects of financial reporting and projections for the Global business. Assure alignment on financial strategies and accounting methodologies.
• Create a financially responsible and focused culture across the Global organization.
• Actively participates in the Global Executive Team (GET) as a leader of the entire business and with accountability for its performance.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
• 10 - 15 years of progressive financial management experience including:
• 3 years in a senior financial leadership role;
• at least 5 years in an international business;
• with retail and consumer products experience a plus.
• Finance, economics or accounting degree required with a CPA or MBA preferred. Must have previous finance experience in a publicly traded company. Must have significant understanding and strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience within a "best practices" finance organization where finance is viewed as a business partner.
• Strong analytical, business acumen and technical skills including significant financial expertise in both accounting and forecasting. Expert at PowerPoint and Excel with experience with planning tools.

Builds trust by including others and by keeping the cross-functional teams focused on the success of the entire company.
