Job Description
We are currently seeking a Distribution Center Inventory Control to join our team. The Inventory Control Clerk works in all areas to ensure inventory is processed accurately and timely in compliance with Level of service commitments. Additional responsibilities are to ensure all company assets are accounted for and established processes are followed.
Additional responsibilities include:
Results and Accountability:
Complete scheduled task within a specific area to include, but not limited to:
• Receiving Dock Audits.
• Random Location Audits.
• Monitor research and resolve inventory overages in Penalty Area.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for all audits and research.
• Communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Support operations needs/inquiries involving IC issues.
• Meet weekly cycle count goals.
• Log and record all cycle counts, errors and audits completed.
• Compile and maintain all paperwork associated with research and/or SKU adjustments.
• Maintain adjustment file.
• Generate, compile and effectively disseminate reports illustrating various results or data trends
• Research and determine disposition of all IC product in IC location(s)
• Communicates with Supervisor/Department Manager on performance to plan throughout the shift.
Meets or exceeds performance to include, but not limited to:
• Meets daily production goals.
• Makes adjustments based on performance to expectation.

Communicates, develops and maintains strong working relationships at all levels:
• Peers within operations.
• Supervisors
• Department Managers
• Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open
feedback and two-way communication at all levels.
Qualified candidates will possess:
• High School, Some College Preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience (QA/IC) in Retail/Logistics/Distribution/Supply Chain/Warehousing
• Proficient in common computer applications and distribution/warehouse inventory management systems
• Interpersonal skills
• Problem solver
• Detail oriented
• Innovative
• Self-Starter
• Strong communication
• Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements: Outside environmental conditions found in the Distribution Centers, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Individuals may need to walk for an extensive period of time while working and walking the facilities; to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below the waist; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; occasional lifting up to 30-50 pounds.
