Position Summary
As the Anthem Clinical Account Director, you will be responsible for managing the day to day clinical piece of the Consulting and Operations effort for the Anthem relationship .
You will ensure clinically related training, communications, program updates, maintenance, process and enhancements are delivered. The Anthem Clinical Account Director will collaborate cross departmentally with internal partners in
Specialty, Clinical Operations and Member Experience . You will ensure our field teams obtain the necessary clinical information, clinical communications, program updates and enhancements for CVS Health to effectively meet the clinical needs of Anthem and their members. .
This position can be located in any CVS Corporate Hub or has the ability to work remotely within the U.S. You must have the ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
The Anthem Clinical Account Director will have a strong working knowledge of CVS Health's clinical programs and
processes and understand the needs of the clients and marketplace. You will be able to leverage this knowledge into communications, training, updates, and enhancements that the field can use and be successful.
Your demonstrated leadership skills will serve as a role model, coach and mentor. The Anthem Clinical Account Director will be responsible for supervising and developing a team of skilled staff. You will be responsible for reviewing employee’s output to measure quality and accuracy of handling client deliverables and issues and to assess individual
performance. You will also be responsible to help drive results across all the Clinical Teams in Clinical Operations, Specialty, Member Experience and Client Relationship Management. The Anthem Division will have aligned goals with Anthem’s PBM, so working across functional areas toward a common goal is critical.
You will also interview and hire qualified candidates for the health plan Clinical Advisor staff. The Anthem Clinical
Account Director will identify and develop talented individuals for future positions within CVS Health.
Other responsibilities include:
Understanding CVS Health's and Anthem’s goals and weave this knowledge and direction into the deliverables and message to the field.
Facilitating and collaborating with cross-departmentally on workgroups, tasks, and projects that result in net effect of teams delivering programs and services that match the client needs. Exhibit well developed interpersonal skills with an emphasis on effective interaction with various management levels and peer groups.
Developing and maintaining a strong working knowledge of marketplace dynamics and trends.
Required Qualifications
*5+ years’ experience within the PBM industry, having experience with clinical programs and client management.
*3+ years’ experience in operations, training, market positioning, and communications in a leadership role is desired.
*Having advanced working knowledge of CVS Health clinical programs and business model is necessary. Your strong ability to organize and manage multi-tasks concurrently along with your strong communication skills and good negotiation skills are key to this role.
*Travel may require but is not limited to flights, overnight stays, local travel, travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the Company.
