JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for leading the software-related projects of designing, building and maintaining all functions built within the SalesForce software product. Responsible for supervision of the application development and directing a group of IT professionals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serves as a technical expert representative across teams, clients and the information technology industry
• Offers technical support across practices in offering definition and positioning
• Plan, direct and coordinate all activities associated with creating software across multiple functional areas and products
• Responsible for direction of the functional areas related to data management, forecasting, deal registration, contacts, leads, campaigns, opportunities, quotes, dashboards and reports etc.
• Direct the implementation of new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, email alerts and templates and campaigns.
• Prioritize and allocate projects, products and resources with the assistance of architects and managers
• Direct the IT professionals as they perform systems, design and application development as well as evaluate code reviews and make recommendations for changes
• Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations.
• Participate in the selection of new staff and establish required training and performance review process
• Effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
OTHER RELATED DUTIES
• Promotes and coordinates technical knowledge harvesting within the organization
• Tracks and identifies new opportunities to improve methodology and training offerings
• Assists in strategic sales efforts from a technical perspective
• Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent) and 5+ year’s professional experience.
• Experience developing and delivering solutions to real customer problems, preferably with an emphasis on Sales, Customer Service, and/or Marketing issues.
• 2+ year’s Force.com development experience with strong focus on Apex and Visual force development.
• 3+ year’s Java or C# development experience, and 3+ year’s web application development experience, including solid experience with Java or C#, as well as HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Agile development practices a plus
• SalesForce.com Certification is strongly preferred
Work Environment:
• Constant work performed in a Corporate environment
Physical Demands:
• Frequent work performed while sitting and/or standing
• Constant use of computer, telephone devices and other general office equipment
