Position Summary
Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as a director of business compliance. As the Director of Business Compliance - MinuteClinic you will lead a team to track, analyze, and interpret compliance performance to support best in class results. This position will work independently as well as in collaboration with colleagues from within the MinuteClinic organization. This position will be required to work with and influence decision makers within Compliance, Legal, and Operations. In addition, the Director of Business Compliance will represent the Compliance Department at key business meetings and serve as a contributor, thought partner and facilitator. This individual will play a key role in working with business partners to develop and implement compliance strategies.
The Director of Regulatory Compliance will:
• Review and evaluate appropriateness of Business created solutions and work plans.
• Maintain communication protocols to escalate issues and delays to Sr. Management.
• Lead a team to track progress of initiatives to completion and validate effectiveness.
• Participate in team meetings with the Business to gain insight into upcoming initiatives. Vet those initiatives for Compliance Risks and advise the business accordingly.
• Perform Risk Assessments on Subject Matter areas to identify regulatory risks, business controls and establish Compliance oversight.
• Lead a team to obtain all relevant Laws and regulations and assess their applicability to the Business.
• Prioritize projects and determine action needed for compliance.
• Identify Business owners for identified projects.
• Roll out requirements to the Business and act as single point of contact for Business regarding communications with Legal.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 8 years experience in a compliance or regulatory or similar role where candidate demonstrated a deep understanding of Billing and Coding activities preferably in Hospital / Provider / Clinical setting.
• Minimum of 5 years program management experience where candidate demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization (Senior Management, Field Management, Business Units within Corporate environment).
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience with legislation or contract review.
• Proven ability to work independently and to recognize and resolve issues.
• Capacity to travel periodically to Field locations throughout the company to validate the effectiveness of programs and processes
• Ability to understand complex problems, identify root causes and remain goal-oriented within a dynamic environment.
