Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Overall responsibility of the Director of Home Services is to manage day to day store processes for Home Services. In addition, this Director is to offer assistance to the Home Services leadership team and provide input on the deployment of strategic projects in Home Services. specifically, this individual is responsible for providing specific operational expertise to all levels of Home Depot Associates. Key responsibilities include assessing project needs in relation to Home Services, aggregating data gathered by his/her staff (Field Service Merchants and AHS Specialists), making suggestions based on aggregated data and monitoring the project's impact on Home Services field execution.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Drives the installation business in the stores and achieves aggressive sales, IMU, markdowns, and customer satisfaction goals for all AHS programs.
• Manages team of Field Service Merchants and AHS Specialists to ensure smooth field execution of AHS programs
• Measure impact of changes and new projects on AHS.
• Evaluates needs of multiple project requests and impact on AHS operations, aggregates data from team and ensures needs of projects are met.
• Provides expertise and strategic thinking and process design to drive successful improvements in AHS, working toward quickly implementation and ROI.

• Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
• Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience:8 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 9 plus years experience in field or related field

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent skills in communication
