Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing. The refining assets consist of refineries operated in Tyler and Big Spring, Texas, El Dorado, Arkansas and Krotz Springs, Louisiana with a combined nameplate crude throughput capacity of 302,000 barrels per day.
The logistics operations primarily consist of Delek Logistics Partners, LP. Delek US Holdings, Inc.and its affiliates own approximately 63% (including the 2 percent general partner interest) of Delek Logistics Partners, LP. Delek Logistics Partners, LP (NYSE:DKL) is a growth-oriented master limited partnership focused on owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets.
The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.
Position Summary:
Primary focus is to aggressively grow the existing and future Delek business / assets relating to Mexico through identification of existing and potential customers, evaluating and analyzing customer needs, providing innovative solutions to constituent requirements, and completing effective contract negotiations. Position will be an integral member of the Business Unit team and must be willing to work collaboratively with operations, engineering, legal and accounting to jointly grow Delek, particularly in Mexico.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Responsible for all Business Development activities associated with Mexico.
• Develops economic models and performs economic analysis.
• Identifies, develops and implements strategies to add new customers to support sales by rail and truck.
• Negotiates and/or re-negotiates existing agreements with customers for refined product sales in Mexico.
• Develops and maintains relationships with current customers, potential customers, professional organizations and competitors.
• Is intimately familiar with all contracts in the operating area and proactively pursues new contracts prior to their expiration dates.
• Monitors industry activities and other new business opportunities and develops plans for capturing new business.
• Monitors the business environment and laws in Mexico relating to the industry, and provides updates to the Delek executive management team regarding current conditions and potential changes.
• Develops sales budgets, prepares forecasts of future demand and monitor contract performance.
• Supports the operations of transload facility operations by coordinating sales needs with operational capabilities.
• Work with US suppliers to source product for sale in Mexico.
• Present at industry events to build a positive brand image for Delek in Mexico
• Regularly meet with existing and potential customers

Job Qualifications
• Must be fluent in both Spanish and English
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on rail related businesses in petroleum. Background in contracts and negotiations and economic modeling required.
• Business, Finance or related degree strongly preferred.
• Must be able to develop and modify economic models and perform complex economic analysis to evaluate and justify new projects.
• Must possess strong leadership, people, and customer relations skills and have numerous contacts throughout the industry.
• Must be able to quickly and accurately analyze business opportunities and capitalize on potential new business.
• Must be a self-starter and have the strong ability to successfully initiate and pursue business opportunities with minimal oversight or direction.
• Must be a great team player and be able to work closely with other Delek associates including business development, executives, engineering, operations, contract administration, all focused toward the closing and ongoing maintenance of new business ventures.
• Proven track record of completing successful negotiations.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Strong work ethic and respect among industry peers in areas of honesty, integrity, and business knowledge.
Physical Demands
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position requires sitting throughout most of the day, including airline and auto travel. It will involve some lifting and filing.
On occasion there will be outside office assignments that can involve walking around construction sites, industrial locations, field and/or wooded areas.
Up to 50% travel required, with a significant amount of time spent in Mexico
Working Environment
Generally working in an office environment, however, may require visiting and walking around some construction, industrial sites and farms, driving on rural roads, and other field locations, to acquire familiarity with facilities, properties and settings.
