This position will be responsible and accountable for service parts distrubiton centers , l repair centers and processes for the Americas, in support of a $1. Billion PRS revenue. You will develop and execute process improvement initiatives to ensure regional and global service distribution objectives are achieved and operational efficiency is optimized. Provide leadership to further develop the organization’s culture in the areas of: alignment with corporate strategy, team development, performance and associate empowerment and recognition.
Responsible to implement the global strategy and direction in the Americas for the following functions:
• Leading the Service supply chain organization for all Countries in the Americas
• Production floor safety and visual metrics
• Demand Planning & Forecasting
• Repair
• Distribution and warehousing for service parts
• Service Supply Chain processes and operations
• Supplier and Partnermanagement
• Inventory Management
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ensure on-time parts delivery and reliability of repairs for over 6,000 field technicians
• Oversee repair operation of aproximately 100 associates
• Oversee distribution operations of approximately 100 associtate
• Ensure compliance to safety, health and environmental policies and regulations
• Continually investigates and introduces process improvements and lean initiatives
• Create, implement and manage performance metrics & scorecards
• Develop and foster talent to build and maintain a high performance atmosphere.
• Ensure all employees are properly trained and receive timely performance evaluations. Through leadership and training define and direct the necessary programs and opportunities to grow the organization to execute at a high level of performance.
• Implement,maintain and support the global strategy for our service supply chain.
• Perform special projects and other duties as required for successful facility operations
• Effectively manage a P&L in excess of 100M
• Service parts inventory management and optimization
• Ensure a globally integrated and aligned Supplier- and Partner management
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics Management, or Operations / Supply Chain required…MBA or equivalent certification or experience preferred
• Proven experience in leading all facets of service parts management and distribution. (strategic planning, budget, production, global safety laws & regulations…etc) Reverse logistics experience a plus
• Minimum 10 years experience in progressive global supply chain management or manufacturing
• Previous P&L or cost center responsibilities of >$100M
• Ability to develop, market and implement global strategies and projects
• Robust communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to travel globally. Initial travel will be 80% decreasing to 50%
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent problem solving certification recommended.
• Bilingual - Spanish is a plus.
