Position Summary:
Lead a team of Sr. Merchandising Managers focused on each channel, responsible for short term sales and margin performance management, developing the quarterly strategic plan and our category strategy and line review process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop USR Seasonal strategy by leading process (Back-to-school, Holiday, Back-to-work, Spring) with key Merchandising, Marketing, Finance and Operations for US Retail business, ensuring we deliver stated sales and margin goals
• Develop new process in NAD to align cross-functional teams behind a quarterly strategy, (similar to retail) – improving alignment, visibility, resourcing and impact of plan, while simplify prioritization and communication with the field
• Develop go-to-market planning calendar inclusive of forecast, drivers, last year, and key deliverables
• Enable strategy process by managing and run key meetings – collecting and aggregating inputs into the plan, ensure alignment and participation, tracking and developing a project plans to hold group accountable
• Manage Line Review process for each channel impacting assortment changes, resource deployment
• Innovation and Change (i.e. improvements to procedures, services, or products, as well as development of new ideas, methods, techniques, services and products)
• Lead and drive change with Sr. Channel Managers tasked with identifying and aligning business performance across, merchandising, marketing, finance and sales – relative to the stated plan
• Create operational calendar across functions, prioritizing got to market initiatives, performance drivers and budget hurdles
• Run weekly channel meetings (retail Caucus, Bi-Weekly Dotcom Meetings, Daily Margin Meetings) and ensure alignment with all cross-functional partners on priority initiatives, performance and resourcing to ensure delivery of financial targets.
• Business Unit Leaders: Manage annual category strategy process, generating category plans for specific BUs across entire portfolio.
• Merchandising leadership team: Provide key inputs, insight and framework to merchandising organization.
• GMM’s and CMO: Support creation and development of overall Merchandising strategy

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 8-10 Years Merchandising Experience
• MBA required
