Requirements
Job Title: Director, IT
Do you love music and have a passion for technology and team leadership?
Do you enjoy driving projects to successful completion? In this role the Director, IT will provide leadership, vision and execution in all phases of application systems support for the delivery of effective business system solutions to meet internal and external customer needs.
Standout applicants will demonstrate:
• Serve as the primary interface between business leaders, IT executive management, the Development teams, and third party vendors.
• Facilitate, sponsor and lead IT roadmap development and execution to fulfill strategic longer term goals.
• Provide top-level onsite leadership of operational support for all IT support functions.
• Run the technical support leaders of business systems for all IT customers utilizing both internal and external resources.
• Support and coordinate the design, implementation and maintenance of vendor supplied application systems to insure acceptance and proper use of the applications.
• Support and provide leadership for all departmental projects.
• Provide Tier 3 on-call support leadership for IT operational support and issues as required.
• Run application support resources to support projects and implementations while supporting multiple tasks and ad-hoc requests.
• Ensure the maintainability, scalability, upgradability and flexibility of the ERP and other assigned applications.
• Direct, prepare, and maintain business requirement documents, project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, performance reporting, and other system documentation.
• Provide 24X7 applications support to the call center, distribution center, and related business units, Partner with business units to demonstrate IT resources to better understand customer operations and processes, development opportunities, business requirements, and potential improvements while providing strategic recommendations.
• Work with other IT partners to ensure optimal performance of the applications, including processes such as planning, budgeting, employee development, and scheduling.
• Responsible for compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Policies/PCI as it pertains to Configuration Management, Security and Business Continuance.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 12 years of relevant work experience in managing and providing application support or business system solution services for functional business systems (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)
• 7 years of experience leading teams
• 7 years of experience with Software Development Methodologies (Change Control, Production Support, and Quality Assurance).
• 7 years managing and supporting Merchandising ERP systems with a minimum of 3 years managing and supporting Microsoft AX preferably 2012 R2.
• 7 years managing and supporting Forecasting and Planning systems such as E3.
• 5 years of experience managing an on-shore/off-shore model for team resources for administrative support and development.
• 5 years of experience managing vendor project engagements and ongoing partnerships.
• 5 years of experience with cost control, budget development and monitoring or similar P&L responsibility.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Share Point, Project, Visio, & Sarbanes Oxley.
