Position Summary:
Will develop and implement talent development programs, systems, and processes that support the Company’s business strategy of valuing and developing associates. Responsible for continually building the Company’s stock of human capital and encouraging associate development at all levels of the organization. Will work with business leadership to translate brand priorities into a strategic learning and development framework and to facilitate and sustain timely and effective execution of key learning initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following):
1. Oversees the research, development, testing, implementation and evaluation of all enterprise wide talent development and training programs designed to enhance organization and associate performance.
2. Conducts ongoing analysis of current and new development programs to ensure alignment with business needs and strategy.
3. Conducts needs assessments to identify development opportunities and to ensure that current programs are fulfilling expectations and producing desired results. Recommends and implements changes to realign or establish programs to meet business needs.
4. Provides consultation and guidance to all levels of the organization to determine development needs and recommends appropriate interventions.
5. Researches industry best practices and selects appropriate options to enhance delivery of programs.
6. Partners with leaders across the organization to establish strategic and practical learning initiatives that build a high-performance culture.
7. Manages financial resources as directed as well as budget.
8. Drives alignment for training and OD efforts for the entire Talent Development lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, training, leadership development, etc.)
9. Enables career pathing and development for associates of all tenures and levels.
10. Aligns and establishes strategy in conjunction with SVP and business partners.
11. Interfaces with business partners to ensure understanding and alignment with business needs.
12. Assures best practices are communicated and shared with key associate populations to enable business growth and development.
13. Oversees multi-media production of learning designs including, but not limited to, web, video, print, and audio.
14. Understands current state of IT technology and advocates for future state to enable greater efficiency, scale and scope.
15. Responsible for the Leadership Development strategy and program development; succession planning, talent reviews and talent calibration using the Talent Management System.
16. Partners with Management/Leadership to identify and align high potential, diverse talent, focusing on long-term development and succession planning for individual development.
17. Leads the Talent Development Department to create systemwide training materials and tools to ensure the proper onboarding, training and ongoing support of all company projects and programs.
18. Manages, researches and recommends leadership development best practices and technologies to support teaching and learning.
19. Implements and maintains infrastructure for tracking programs to validate effectiveness. Influence and engage leaders to actively participate in program development and facilitation.
20. Utilizes Applicant Tracking System to create and track training and certifications for all associates.
21. Ensures sustainability programs are in place for all training initiatives.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Human Resources, or related field required.
2. Ten years of experience in human resources, organizational development, or management development/training preferred.
3. Experience with Learning Management Systems Peoplesoft preferred.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
5. Excellent project management, leadership, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required.
6. Ability to travel, interact and problem solve with all levels within the organization required.
