Job Description
Scope of Responsibility: The Automotive Services Business Transformation Director is responsible for the growth of Automotive sales and profits by creating a World Class Operations culture of Excellence through the use and ongoing refinement of financial operating models. This position will be responsible for designing and implementing best-in-class processes and solutions along with closed loop feedback monitoring systems to insure continuous improvement and enable immediate, progressive and sustained growth to become The Leader in US Automobile Repair industry.
Job Summary: Primary focus is to drive Revenue and Profit growth through the implementation of process and systems improvements. Works closely with Region VPs and District Service Managers on strategic and tactical initiatives to drive performance and productivity. Influence corporate and field leadership to drive business transformation to a culture of Excellence.
Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
• Define and create operating procedures to drive consistency and excellence in ex ecution across field organization
• Create and manage Operations Metrics programs to ensure relevant KPI’s are leading indicators that are defined, measured, and published with ranking system to drive field competition
• Provides recommendations and analysis on strategic and visionary goals
• Ensures the highest standards of customer service for our internal and external customers
• Lead Competitive Market Analysis to understand, publish and create the operations "game plan" for each market to be successful (e.g. staffing level/mix, geography, leadership, pricing, open/invest/close matrix, etc.)
• Lead and collaborate on field organization effectiveness strategy and intiatives to include, but not limited, to job design, key success measures, incentives, training content/delivery, organization structure, core business processes, etc. to enable growth and continuous improvement
• Create system to institute, monitor and track and action plan (battle plan) by store.
• Measure and drive technician, sales, management and shop productivity to maximize billable hours for each hour paid while delivery high quality customer experience with a culture of safety.
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates.
