Position Summary
The Director of Talent Management will develop the talent strategy for the retail organization. In this role, you will be accountable for leading a team that designs, develops and implements the talent development programs that will deliver high-performing leaders and teams. You will coach, develop, and engage a team of 16 to build, lead, and execute the strategy for each of their divisions.
Your key job responsibilities will be:
Identify and translate business challenges into programs designed to impact those challenges and deliver on business results.
Lead the talent planning and development process for approximately 1000 Mid to Senior level leaders in the CVS retail organization Succession planning and performance evaluations
Required Qualifications
Ability to travel up to 60%
5+ years of leadership development philosophies, research and trends
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to develop and design development programs
- Experience leading remote professionals
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with field or senior business leaders
- Experience guiding the evolution of the talent progression for leaders. Activities include performance management
(talent review), hi-potential identification, succession planning, coaching and career development planning.
- Able to gather data, analyze issues, identify root causes and address opportunities related to talent gaps and needs.
- Experience leading processes and programs to align with company need and culture
