Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Drive delivery of complex business initiatives having enterprise-wide impact. Direct teams of project managers in the delivery of solutions that meet business functionality, cost, schedule, and quality requirements of enterprise initiatives.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leads project teams to develop solutions.
Facilitates project managers'delivery of solutions that meet or exceed defined business functionality, cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
Escalates issues to executives as appropriate.
Facilitates decision-making process across multiple executive level stakeholders to arrive at timely and appropriate decisions for the project. Communicates decisions to project team.
As required, ensures that project plans are altered to incorporate outcomes.
Develops project team members in the discipline of project management.
Ensures that project teams follow standardized project management policies and procedures throughout the project's lifecycle.
Analyzes project's financial indicators to provide appropriate input to executives concerning overall project schedule, costs, impact on departmental budget, timeliness of return on investment, etc.
Ensures business is positioned to properly integrate the results of the project by facilitating removal of barriers to implementation.
Proactively advises steering committee, of any risks associated with achieving expected project benefits.
Partners with IPMO to enhance the organization's standard PM policies and procedures.
Responsible for appropriate selection, termination, performance appraisal, and professional development of assigned staff.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Typically reports to Sr. Director
Position has 5 – 6 direct reports
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience:8 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA and/or CFE is preferred
Master’s degree is preferred
Additional Skills
Technical background, with experience in software development methodologies like Agile and SAP Activate
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Ability to translate technical information into terms understandable by non-IT personnel
