Position Summary
As a Human Resources Business Analyst you are responsible for analyzing existing systems and business processes, identifying process and system improvement strategies, and providing project management services. You will represent the needs of various partners works collaboratively within the PMO team to ensure appropriate functionality, testing and support measures are implemented to deliver efficient and effective business solutions that meet the functional needs of our customers on time and within defined budget parameters.
Duties &Responsibilities:
-Identifying potential impacts of new systems/processes or changes to existing systems/processes and guide implementation.
-Identifying and interpreting functional needs of appropriate partners and sponsors. Interpreting meaning and importance of information.
-Determining need and method for keeping team members, customers/stakeholders, and management informed.
-Composing high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements that are specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who must base their work on the requirements.
-Keeping project, communication, testing, and training documentation updated using defined standards.
-Demonstrating attention to detail in all phases of the business analysis and project management lifecycles.
-Responsible for completing tasks related to business solution planning, business case development, and documenting and leading requirements.
-Supplies critical judgment beyond role; offering a point of view.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Ability to travel 5% of the time, as needed per business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
-Prior experience working with HR software development projects and requirements gathering.
-Experience with HR ERP tools, such as, PeopleSoft, Workbrain, Kenexa, or SuccessFactors.
-HR domain knowledge: HR, Payroll, Payroll Tax, Health and Welfare preferred.
-Business Analyst Human Resource experience.
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
-Ability to work with executive level partners. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
-Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access and MS Project.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
-Highly self-motivated and directed.
-Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
-Positive attitude and solutions oriented thinking.
-Proven ability & willingness to learn from experience and apply that learning under new situations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related professional experience in combination with education.
