Responsibilities
This position is a Strategic Lead in the execution of Papa John’s advertising media strategy, ensuring the company is receiving the greatest return on its advertising investments and achieving marketing related goals. The position will benefit from a background involving all media channels that is complemented by a strong analytic background to assist in the planning and evaluation of media.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the strategic planning of all media channels based on objectives, target audiences, sales hurdles, key events, competitive environment, and other factors that influence performance.
• Oversee the buying of all media (with an agency partner), including Television, Digital, Social, Search, as well as other channels, and track spending to ensure budget compliance
• Direct involvement with the use of a Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) model to guide media planning/buying.
• Close collaboration with media agencies to develop plans, identify needed adjustments to plans, and guide overall strategic direction—agencies to include media agency, social agency, creative agency, and MTA partner.
• Develop and grow relationship directly with key media partners.
• Maintain high brand and ad awareness levels with measurement through outside partners and identification of appropriate media to drive desired results.
• Evolve all media channels, implementing best practices, and utilizing data and insights for continued evolution.
• Lead an internal team as well as agency teams.
• Manage day-to-day communications with internal teams and any agency partners.
• Initiative to develop new solutions, develop new strategies, and address changes in competitive environment.
• Assist the VP, Brand Planning and Analysis to achieve overall goals related to sales and key brand perception metrics.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications required.
• 5 – 7 years of experience planning, buying, and analyzing television, digital, and social media required.
• Experience using an MTA model preferred.
• QSR or eCommerce experience preferred.
