Administrative Assistant (Temp)
Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a talented and passionate Administrative Assistant to support the Story & Franchise Development team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will champion your team and drive team morale by planning epic team events, maintaining the office space, coordinating onboarding efforts, and acting as the point of contact for team needs. This position requires a critical thinker with an eye for detail and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Act as the primary point of contact for facilities, IT, and AV requests relating to the building
• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing department-wide events and meeting
• Perform various building improvement tasks
• Coordinate team moves and seat assignments, as well as maintaining a building seating map
• Place catering orders and process/distribute lunch vouchers
• Assist in planning and organizing team events
• Submit and track purchase requests on behalf of team members
• Manage and update new hire access to team mailing lists and conference room booking
• Maintain shared calendar and inbox for the Story & Franchise Development administrative team
• Craft written and visual department-wide communications
• Act as a liaison between multiple companies and multiple departments both internally and externally
• Conduct tours for visiting guests
• Support the Senior Administrative Assistant of Story & Franchise Development as needed
Requirements
• 1+ years of experience in an administrative role
• Customer service experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Self-starter with a high level of initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Impeccable organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Great collaborator who also enjoys working independently
Pluses
• Graphic design or Adobe Photoshop skills
• Knowledge of Blizzard games and lore
