GSN Games, the leading developer in mobile and social games, is seeking a Campaign Manager with a passion for marketing world-class mobile games using cutting edge performance marketing tools to join our casual games studio based in Boston, San Francisco or Palo Alto.
About the GSN Puzzle Studio:
Our studio consists of a talented group of game artists, designers, engineers, product people and marketers who craft industry-leading mobile games providing very high quality experiences. This studio is the home of Solitaire Tripeaks by GSN, the #1 revenue solitaire game on mobile that has quickly grown into one of the top grossing games on both iOS and Android.
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our Performance Marketing team, you’ll work closely with Marketing Leadership to drive lifecycle marketing strategy as well as execute, analyze and iterate of a suite of campaigns across multiple execution channels. You will provide the focus, processes and creative skills to create the best and most effective marketing executions for our world-class mobile games across the entire marketing stack. Like everyone on our small and efficient team, our newest team member will set direction and goals strategically, while getting hands dirty bringing plans to life. When work gets out of hand, you’ll think first about improving the tool set, not expanding headcount.
Our ideal candidate runs the gamut from strategy to execution, from targeting to messaging, with experience creating journeys and experiences and is an expert at creating, iterating, and testing high-quality campaigns to best communicate value and opportunities to all segments of our player base. You’re more about using your experience to have an impact on a new way of game marketing than about building a big marketing team. You know how to use your instincts to get to the best jumping-off point, but you embrace data that tells you what’s *really* effective.
You Will:
• Lead the Studio’s efforts to craft lifecycle journeys and players experiences to improve player retention, engagement and monetization.
• Creating and executing best in class mobile gaming marketing strategy translating to various promotions through channels such as in app pop ups, push notifications, email, facebook campaigns, etc
• Own a continual process of a/b testing, to identify highest performing marketing materials.
• Manage and build reports to share progress and advocated for incremental investment along with effectively measuring ROI for each of the media used.
• Collaborate with our talented development teams to guide marketing experiences from concept to execution, and then iterate on those designs post-launch based on live metrics and user feedback.
• Coordinate creative between disciplines within the studio (Design, Art, Marketing).
• Work with localization vendors to enhance copy translations in key foreign markets.
About You:
• 5+ years experience in marketing, mobile gaming or similar preferred.
• Passion for inspiring and shepherding teams to do their best work.
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
• An ability to be flexible and thrive in a collaborative, agile development environment.
• Familiarity with user testing methodologies and a willingness to embrace player feedback.
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates work across different channels, including, but not limited to Email campaigns, push notifications, banner ads, landing pages, etc.
• You need to be comfortable (and kind of awesome at) having strategic marketing discussions with key stakeholders within the studio and across the company.
Bonus Points!
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite of tools: JIRA, Confluence, Trello, etc.
• Familiarity with mobile engagement tools (Appboy, Braze, Responsys, Sendgrid, Optimove, Leanplum, Urban Airship, Swrve, etc.)
• Experience in making world-class social/casual/casino games a huge plus.
