ABOUT ENCORE BOSTON HARBOR
Encore Boston Harbor is a luxury global destination gaming resort that will feature 671 hotel rooms with sweeping views of the Boston skyline and Boston Harbor, ultra-premium spa, luxury retail, high-end dining, and state-of-the-art ballroom and meeting spaces. At a total cost of $2.5 billion, it is the largest private single-phase development in the history of the Commonwealth. Situated on the waterfront along the Mystic River and connected to Boston Harbor, Encore Boston Harbor will include a six-acre park along the water that will feature a harborwalk, an events lawn, public viewing areas, ornate floral displays and retail and dining experiences that overlook the Encore Harbor Walk.

The Encore Boston Harbor Specialist – Digital Marketing & eCommercewill support the Digital Marketing and eCommerce department in developing and maintaining a robust digital presence for Encore Boston using digital planning and analytic tools, paid search, display ads, email campaigns, owned media properties, search engine optimization (SEO), and visual/written communications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; assisting with overall digital strategies and tactics that align and support the overall Encore Boston Harbor business strategy; identifying and maximizing opportunities for departmental and company success; maintaining all Encore Standards; and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience through the expression of the five-star Encore Brand at every guest touchpoint.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensures all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
• Participates in short-and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness; effects changes required for improvement. Identifies key drivers of success.
• Actively contributes to the departmental performance, and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies and procedures; records and reports.
• Verifies that all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls property wide are enforced within the department.
• Delivers and maintains a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction.
• Contributes to company-wide communication and best practices.
• Assists in providing training opportunities for team members.
• Must have the ability to promote positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team members, with all Encore contractors, and in all interactions within the Host and Surrounding Communities, as an ambassador of the Encore brand.
• Credible hands-on experience managing multiple online advertising media campaigns across all resort and nightlife venues (hospitality marketing experience a plus). Inclusive of helping manage external media publisher communication.
• Familiarity with buying and planning media inclusive of SEM, programmatic, display, and mobile advertising.
• Experience paid social
• Prior experience with executing digital media plans and creative fulfillment.
• Developing and managing work streams for generating all digital assets for all digital advertising programs.
• Support all data initiatives for social, email and digital marketing.
• Performance management reporting; must be knowledgeable of website analytics tools such Google Analytics, and provide sales reports and insights.
• Assist department with producing media reports.
• Manage multiple internal communication points of contact and assist with the management of external partners.
• Facilitates communication throughout the property by organizing and participating with regularly scheduled meetings with resort division heads to support all department initiatives.
• Keeps informed of all new developments within the department and makes recommendations designed to maximize department and company success.
• A keen ability to effectively manage internal and external guest relations, which may require levels of patience, tact and diplomacy.
• Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.
• Assists with the creation and maintenance of Encore Boston Harbor’s digital owned media properties, including websites, blogs and display ads.
• Sound ability to build and maintain strong email campaigns.
• Oversees online, third-party websites and reviews, including TripAdvisor, Google Expedia and Yelp.
• Expertly oversees Search Engine Optimization and leverages Google Analytics.
• Works closely with third-party marketing, creative, media and production resources.
• Works closely with Social Media and Brand Marketing teams.
• Assists with ongoing financial analysis and ROI assessment of digital programs and campaigns.
• Helps to oversee the protection and activation of the Encore Brand across all guest experiences and touch points.
Job Requirements

Age, Gaming and Certifications:
21 years of age or above.
Will be required to obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
Education and/or Experience:
3+ years of direct experience in ecommerce, digital advertising, marketing, and large staff integration is a plus.
College degree with concentration in business, marketing, or digital marketing.
Previous digital agency or fast paced marketing driven environment is preferred.
Must be articulate, highly organized and proactive, with documented success working under tight deadlines.
Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
Must demonstrate project management proficiency, the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously, proficiency using the internet as a research tool, and an understanding of basic marketing principles and ad composition.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to read, write and communicate professionally in English.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe products
Experience with website analytics tools (Google Analytics preferred, Split Testing) and ability to interpret and report data.
Experience with paid SEM and paid social media preferred.
Video production and editing experience a plus
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to decipher various reports and maintain reports upon request.
