Position Overview
Autodesk Inventor is a major player in the highly competitive 3D CAD market. We’re looking for outstanding individuals to boost our competitiveness in this market. As a member of our Inventor Software Engineering organization, you will be part of a team enhancing our globalization efforts to automate the production of drawing templates for 13 international markets served. You will get exposure to large scale code development using the latest technology in CI/CD, source code control, and other code development tools.
Responsibilities
• Work with senior developers to develop an automated process for creating drawing template files for use in localized installations
• Extend the API within Inventor to support the automation thereof
• Work within an Agile Scrum environment on implementing the solution
• Develop efficient test automation that validates the solution
Minimum Qualifications
• Full-time student pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or another quantitative discipline degree at an accredited program in the United States with at least one academic term to complete post internship to be eligible for internship participation.
• Proficiency in C++
• Knowledgeable in scripting technology such as Python
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Git or other source code repository systems
• Familiarity with MS Visual Studio
• Familiarity with CAD
• Having multi-lingual skills is a plus
• Has a can-do attitude, understands software development
• ood communicator, wants to be part of a team
• Has superior critical thinking and analytical skills in addition to their software development skills

Internships @ Autodesk
Our summer internship program runs for ten to twelve weeks from June 2019–August 2019. We start interviewing in January/February and continue to on a rolling basis. We accept online applications through March but prioritize early submissions. Each internship project is assigned to a university recruiter who will review your qualifications.
