Job Summary
This role is focused on improving the productivity of the organization’s leaders through leadership development programs. This person is responsible for the effective development, improvement, coordination and delivery of programs for CenturyLink leaders. They will be responsible for identifying the business needs that drive the programs and implement effective solutions to meet those needs. They will continually assess current program effectiveness and be able to demonstrate the impact to each program. They will also actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and develop leadership skills, this includes being responsible for optimizing the cost/benefit aspect of the programs.
Job Description
Program Leadership
• Manage every aspect of the program needs including coordination, logistics, marketing, and delivery.
• Project manage the significant changes that occur within the team and programs.
• Effectively facilitate programs as needed.
• Develop and monitor spending against the departmental budget.
• Administer processes and personally provide feedback to facilitators
• Provide recommendations for the improvement programs and program materials.
• Utilize a variety of service delivery channels across the library of programs.
• Engage in vendor management, budget management, strategic sourcing, program marketing, and internal communication of learning events.
• Exemplify the desired culture and unifying principles of the organization.
• Work effectively as a team member and provide support to the human resources organization.
• Partner with HRBPs to ensure consistency of training policies and procedures.
Measurement and Analytics
• Continually assess the current leadership development library of courses and measure impact of programs and delivery channels
• Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
• Create operating metrics to measure impact and performance
Leadership Development
• Develop and maintain competency frameworks and models, providing comprehensive development tools for each competency
• Manage and engage in coaching relationships with senior leaders
• Lead processes that provide development opportunities associated with the organization’s succession planning process.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience. Typically with 6+ years of experience with Bachelor's Degree and 4+ with a Master's Degree; 2+ years previous supervisory / leadership experience preferred.
Degree in a learning, human resources, or communication related field preferred
