Job Description
KREM 2 produces some of the best commercials and promos in the Inland Northwest, and we are seeking a talented, driven and self-motivated creative services producer to join our marketing and production team. From meeting with clients to help them enhance their brand and message, to writing scripts and overseeing the production process, this hands-on role requires someone with the vision and skill to make multi-platform commercials and promos that get noticed and meet the client’s and station’s objectives. You will work in a highly creative and collaborative environment, thinking on your feet, and managing multiple projects for a variety of clients and station initiatives.
This is a very flexible position where one day you will work on a commercial for a client and the next produce a cutting-edge content marketing video to go on multiple social media platforms. You will work with a highly skilled team ready to collaborate, and accomplish campaigns that meet the strategic goals of the client and/or station. The marketing team works together to execute a variety of projects on mutable platforms. This keeps us excited and challenged.
Job Responsibilities:
• Meet with Sales Account Executives and clients to come up with creative concepts for commercials.
• Work with reporters and news staff to develop promotional spots for news content.
• Write scripts that meet/exceed client expectations.
• Manage and direct production shoot for commercials and promos.
• Be able to work with others and as a one-man-band, producing, directing, editing and placing spots in server on time and accurately.
• Be deadline-oriented, maintaining quality while staying on schedule.
• Be skilled in developing promotional elements on social media – Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Be organized, dependable and able to work quickly under deadline pressure.
• Be able to learn and adapt to new technologies, methods and platforms.
• Be able to work different shifts as needed.
Job Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
• Strong writing, digital production, lighting and non-linear editing skills are essential.
• Experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, digital camera and lighting equipment.
• Be able to carry up to 50 lbs. of equipment daily.
• Experience in commercial/marketing production.
• Comfortable working with clients, Sales Executives, and the creative services team.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
