VP, CSG Billing Operations

JOB SUMMARY
Manage daily end to end operations for all aspects of CSG billing across the company. This includes up front system configuration, bill processing, bill generation, system production and vendor management. Lead and oversee the operational components of the Billing Operations leadership team to drive customer experience and productivity improvements.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Develop and implement processes that drive development, implementation and support of billing system projects, processes and billing conversions.
• Plan, develop, implement and oversee practices that result in highly effective processes for order entry, billing system capabilities and data center management.
• Manage vendor relationships, including vendor performance and service agreements.
• Manage operational processes relating to service delivery provisioning and provisioning applications.
• Keep abreast of, and bring to Charter, evolving billing and billing technologies that enable customers to effectively interact with Charter’s infrastructure systems.
• Foster a culture of consistency, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Attract and retain highly effective management and supervisory staff through mentoring, coaching, development, appraisal and motivation techniques.
• Assist in the preparation and management of capital budget, operating budget, and expense management for assigned area.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
General Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
• Thorough understanding of billing system software systems. CSG system knowledge a plus
• Solid understanding of computer information technology, including relational database technology,
• 3-tiered client server technology, SOA, IP, and web technology
• Familiarity with latest and emerging technologies relating to billing and provisioning systems
• Proven track record of developing staff and maintaining a high standard of employee relations
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing, in a clear and straightforward manner
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
• Ability to define key performance indicators / metrics
• Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Mature judgment and individual initiative
• Ability to supervise and motivate others
• Ability to use personal computer and software
• Knowledge of broadband products and services
Education
Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
