Job Summary:
The Campaign Marketing Consultant will utilize best practices and methodologies to design and implement the best solution for our clients. This key member of our team will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle including analysis, requirement specification, use case and data modeling, technical design, development, testing, and implementation. This individual will be focused on delivering assigned tasks and/or specific tracks of the solution on time, escalating issues when appropriate.
The successful candidate will also bring demonstrated experience project managing team activities to execute campaigns with the technologies that develop integrated campaigns. Channel mix expertise includes direct mail, email, digital, social and mobile channels. Experience with campaign management, marketing automation and other analytic tools is required.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Solve business problems for our clients – developing a deep understanding of the challenge or opportunity and devising the best strategic solution through a combination of data, technology, content and media.
• Work with members of the marketing team to provide strategic recommendations and determine goals, target segments, campaign flows, and metrics requirements for marketing campaigns.
• Participate in the strategic development and execution for all email programs with a constant focus on optimization to achieve click-through rate, conversion, pipeline, revenue and other critical engagement goals.
• Collaborates with broader teams to confirm feasibility of campaign plans and translates marketing strategy and business requirements into campaign management technical requirements
• Creates and manages project plans and timelines to deliver marketing campaigns on time. Works directly with the client to escalate any issues that may prevent on-time delivery including managing overall capacity and priority across campaigns
• Creates Business Requirements Documents (BRD) for on/off-shore team, gathering further requirements from the client as necessary. These BRDs may include targeting and segmentation of the audience, campaign design, monitoring, and key performance metrics
• Coordinate with Release teams and other marketing services teams to ensure successful delivery of campaigns
• Participates in peer reviews and testing of campaigns built by other team members
• Manages client and team expectations throughout delivery; manages risk and issue escalations related to the campaigns
• Manages the Campaign Services team off-shore providing Campaign technical guidance
• Develops and manages client’s Campaign Best Practices document with other Campaign Execution Leads
• Manages relationship with Client Marketing team to support campaign planning and execution with the ability to manage integrated campaign delivery timelines
• Reviews campaign metrics and presents trends and insights; works with Customer Marketing Strategy on campaign optimization
• Manages demand for services, capacity to deliver services and client expectations
• Responsible for understanding business requirements documents (BRD) and designing, building, and testing campaigns
• Supports on-shore and off-shore Campaign Execution Leads and Campaign Technology Leads, as necessary
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of relevant campaign management and marketing experience, with a proven record of accomplishment in increasing conversions and program effectiveness through segmentation, circulation management, and other techniques.
• Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Product Development, Information Management
• Passionate about marketing with an obsession for getting under the skin of a business (the numbers) and understanding how it works and makes money
• Understanding of leading practices in multi-channel marketing across the entire prospect and customer lifecycle, and how marketing strategy, customer data, segments, channel, creative, content, and offers interact to drive desired business outcomes
• Understanding of marketing operations, processes, business requirements
• Experience working with campaign management and marketing automation platforms required including Salesforce, Adobe, IBM, and Oracle.
• Strong technical background
• Understanding of leading practices in multi-channel marketing
• Activation experience with marketing analytics vendors such as Google or Adobe.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong team player
• Advanced PPT and Excel skills required
• Dynamic, driven, hands-on style
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
• Tact, diplomacy, maturity in relating and interacting with people at all levels
• Ability to travel up to 50%
