Property Overview
Isle Casino Hotel® Black Hawk is an over 40,000 square foot, one level gaming complex located in Black Hawk, CO. The casino features over 1,000 slot machines, including your favorite video, reel, keno and video poker machines, live poker and 24 table games such as Blackjack, Let-it-Ride-Poker, Three Card Poker, Bonus 6 Poker, Craps and Roulette. The hotel features 238 hotel rooms comprised of mini-suites with jetted tubs, standard rooms, two 640 square foot meeting rooms, multiple food and beverage venues and a 1,100 space covered parking garage.
Lady Luck Casino® Black Hawk is located diagonally across the street from the Isle Casino Hotel Black Hawk, to which it is connected by a climate controlled skywalk. Lady Luck Casino also has a hotel with 164 rooms and features Otis & Henry's Restaurant featuring homemade classics. Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Develop and communicate schedules for our Table Games Department. Conduct the Casino Administration Office and function in a support capacity for the Senior Director of Casino Operations, Director of Gaming Operations, Casino Operations Managers and the Table Games Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Communicate with the Director of Gaming Operations, Casino Operations Managers and Table Games Team Members as needed to deliver an operationally sound and functionally fluid schedule.
• Maintain departmental employee files, attendance data, and variation records in coordination with the Director of Gaming Operations and Casino Operations Managers.
• Coordinate communications between Casino Operations and other departments ie: HR, Benefits, Payroll, IT, etc.
• Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
• Extensive PC and Infinium computer work for records maintenance
• Answer all phones calls, direct calls, take and pass on accurate messages
• Greet, qualify and respond appropriately to each visitor, guest or vendor
• Produce and deliver reports as needed or required.
• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
• Order office supplies as needed.
• Prepare, control and process all PAN paperwork and attachments.
• Email messaging (receiving/reading and responding/sending).
• Monitor and notify managers of employee attendance issues.
• Assist with all PTO Authorization Requests, Leaves of Absence paperwork and IT User Authorization forms.
• Handle miscellaneous duties including all filing, shredding, binding, copying, faxing, office cleaning, employee birthday cards, employee and purveyor seasonal cards.
• Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, company policies and procedures, and team member and guest information.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Able to provide our Table Games Dealers with excellent service focusing on consistent and fair adjudication of the dealer’s schedule.
• Easygoing and pleasant demeanor during all guest and staff encounters.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.
• Two years Table Games supervisory experience preferred.
• Fully self-motivated and well versed in office etiquette practices.
• Professional phone manner, handling multiple lines, accurate message taking.
• Security minded to ensure a safer environment for our staff and table games office area.
• Good public relations skills.
• Command of the English language with respect to understanding it, speaking it, reading it and writing it legibly.
• Working knowledge of Isle/Lady Luck policies.
• Typing, ten key, computer, clerical, reception and secretarial skills. Detail orientated.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Office environment and casino environment exposed to bright lights and noise.
• High rise hotel and atrium.
• Must be able to demonstrate consistency in providing outstanding guest service per departmental, property, and company guidelines.
• Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, sometimes with short notice.
• Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to perform job functions accurately measurable by departmental guidelines.
• Communicate appropriately/effectively with all casino guests, casino departments, and fellow team members.
• Must understand and utilize the departmental reporting chain of command.
