The offering manager will be focused on ensuring the success and long-term scalability of Autodesk’s subscription offerings. This individual will be primarily focused on driving strategic alignment across the teams which must review, analyze and execute the go-to-market plans for each business model or offering change, while being a champion for improved customer experiences and business benefits. Additionally, the offering manager will ensure that all necessary processes and systems functionality required for teams to support all offering changes is documented, understood and driven with the Autodesk teams required to implement them.
To be successful in this role, the subscription offering manager must demonstrate a proven track record of collaboration, influence, business / technical acumen, and critical thinking skills. Ideal candidates will be equally comfortable in analyzing business plans, understanding how technology solutions meet the business objectives of our customers, and understanding operational capabilities required to successfully implement business models. This individual must also have an enthusiasm for solving real customer problems, promoting change, and encouraging operational teams to embrace and execute the change!
Responsibilities
• Define and manage portfolio of business model and offering changes to drive Autodesk’s business model transformation
• Champion the customer experience always, ensuring that offering changes improve and add value to Autodesk's existing customers and can scale to attract new customers
• Ensure that all offering changes are implemented successfully, from development of policies, processes and systems, to deployment, go-to-market, and post-production support plans
• Work closely with product managers, business model design teams, and engineering teams to create plans for implementing subscription program changes
• Work with operational teams to forge agreements on policies and processes necessary to ensure programs are defined, resourced and run effectively
• Organize effective core teams and build necessary collaborations with business stakeholders, operations and implementation teams
• Successfully manage and communicate project expectations, clarifying roles and responsibilities when needed
• Take initiative to bridge gaps in implementing solutions, enforcing accountability and responsibility with business owners where necessary
• Work effectively with geo-dispersed organizations, and ensure a strong, team-oriented working relationship
• Interface with various Autodesk functional groups, project teams, vendors, managed service providers and other stakeholders to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to subscription program success
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5+ years’ work experience in program management and/or strategy consulting roles
• Excellent program management and organizational skills; including proven track record of managing multiple, complex projects
• Ability and comfort interfacing with senior levels of management, employees at all levels and customers internal and external to Autodesk
• Demonstrated efficacy in using insightful judgment, managing conflict, fostering open communication, and building collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to tackle difficult issues and handle strong personalities. Must excel at decision making, conflict management
• Outstanding, proactive communication skills – written, verbal and more
• Highly motivated, self-directed team player, with an ability to think broadly about business problems to generate the best results
