Manage the day-to-day details for partner contracts. Ensure invoices and royalties are checked and processed according to contracted terms and fiscal reporting deadlines. Manage and proactively solve escalated queries. Conduct periodic analysis of managed deals. Seek for and implement continuous improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service for areas under your control.
Your responsibilities
• Review contract(s) for billing terms and create an execution plan to operationalize
◦ With new or amended partnership, create or update decision trees
◦ Communicate, collaborate with finance for implementation
• Work with contracting paralegal and sales operations manager on potential billing related issues during contract negotiation or contract renewal
• Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve invoicing discrepancies, with input of credit, customer service and sales
• Work with partner and customer, as needed, to ensure our billing aligns with their accounting requirements
• Work closely with Channel Executives and develop and maintain the review and/or process with certain strategic partners or customers to ensure proper invoice or royalty payment are processed.
• Accounts receivable creates invoice and sends to Analyst to make them more specific to include the expenses. Creates maintenance invoices for PPS and send to customer
• Manage eProduct distribution related to contracted deals
• Conduct regular reconciliation process to ensure correct invoicing or royalty payments
• Compile data and prepare forecast, status and revenue reports
• Look for anomalies in reporting -- expected vs reported and follow up accordingly
• Conduct regular audits of managed deals to ensure compliance with contract terms
• Follow up with customers on missed reporting according to contract terms
• Provide recommendations for customer renewals based on revenue for contracted term
• Provide regular communication to appropriate teams on reported revenue.
• Assist with other tasks, as requested, as part of the Customer Success team.
• Ensure and maintain SOX and PCI compliancy for procedures, processes around billing
• Implement or provide input on ways to automate processes and efficiency gains.
What you should bring
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in billing, collections, and/or similar accounting functions with strong client service background.
• Proficient in excel and competent use of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Basic contract knowledge helpful.
• Knowledge of interrelated business software and systems.
• Detail oriented, excellent collaboration and communication skills, analytical thinker, strong understanding of basic financial accounting.
• Ability to effectively identify and analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines critical to quarter and year end revenue reporting
