Our Midroll brand distributes and monetizes major podcasts such as WTF With Marc Maron, The Bill Simmons Podcast, and StarTalk Radio. In 2017, we created Stitcher Premium, our paid podcast subscription service within the Stitcher app. We've been building the podcast industry since its earliest days -- and we're just getting started.
To support our growing business and marketing team, we’re searching for a Manager of User Engagement & Retention. This person will lead execution of marketing strategies to retain the Stitcher app user base, as well as encourage Stitcher users to upgrade to our Premium offering.
Specifically, you’ll:
• Leverage data and customer insights to prioritize, develop and execute strategies that build engagement and loyalty amongst app users.
• Manage day-to-day campaigns (promotional, transactional, lifecycle, triggered and/or rewards-focused) across email, in-app communication, push notifications and other appropriate channels.
• Develop appropriate test, learn, and measurement strategies to optimize efforts across channels.
• Partner with product, analytics and data science teams to identify user behaviors that are key to app engagement as well as those that signal potential churn. Lead efforts to capture additional data that can improve retention efforts overall.
• Guide creative asset development and write copy for campaigns as needed.
You’re a great fit if:
• You have 4-6 years’ experience with digital customer lifecycle marketing, automation, and segmentation. Mobile app experience a plus.
• Have a high level of comfort with data, marketing automation, and email platforms such as Localytics, Periscope, Mailchimp and Mandrill.
• You’re process-driven, have an affinity for project management and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• You enjoy working on both the analytical and creative sides of marketing. Concepting content for an email and finding nuggets of data to help optimize your work are both things you like to do.
• You’re a team player, results and detail-oriented, self-starter kind of person who likes to get stuff done.
• You love podcasts and think more people should be listening to them.
