Job Summary
The Manager Outside Sales reports directly to the Territory Manager for one of four regions across Consumer Field Sales. This position supervises a team of Outside Sales Agents that are either represented or non-represented employees depending upon the region and market location.
The Manager Outside Sales directs and coordinates the activities of outside sales agents in various locations in their respective markets. This person is responsible for ensuring each location in their geographical territory meets or exceeds revenue and product objectives and profitability of each location. Develops long-range plans for sales, marketing, and succession planning for within their geographical area. Analyze sales trends and propose action plans for increasing sales and encourage store involvement in all promotions.
The Manager Outside Sales will be required to take on additional geographic accountability and shift from the functional sales channel to a geographic model, being accountable for overall market performance, consumer service delivery and local community engagement.
Job Description
• Establish GTM plans and provide leadership to sales team in assigned Consumer Territory.
• Drive plans to maximize revenue and penetration in under-utilized assets in targeted geographies.
• Manages assigned MDU building relationships while leading outside sellers to exceed building unit objectives.
• Leader of consumer in market – Responsible for relationships with local community and partner organization.
• Direct sales leadership and development of a team of sales agents.
• Accountable for consumer revenue, unit, FCF, & E2E customer responsibility in assigned territory.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 5+ years of related experience
• Ability to travel up to 75%
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record (MVR check may be required)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the telecommunications field
• Experience with Alternate Channel Distribution – Indirect Retail, MDU, Door to Door, and Big Box Retailers
