Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking an Event Specialist (Contractor)for its Events department. This individual will report to the Director, Events. This position will primarily support the day-to-day activities related to the planning and execution of our US Consumer, Retail, PR, and Licensing events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Source and manage all aspects of events and livestreams including but not limited to budget, AV, decor, creative, catering, transportation, labor, and venues
• Manage and drive event production schedules with internal and external partners.
• Manage all aspects of event logistics including set up and teardowns.
• Oversee all event equipment inventory and deployment for events
• Coordinate and negotiate with vendors to maximize the Ubisoft experience at events.
• Research venues, vendors and 3rd party sponsorships for event opportunities
• Conduct post-event reporting and tracking for ROI analysis
• Administrative duties include tracking PO and Insertion Order approvals, some filing and general assistance for department leads.
Qualifications
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in event management. Agency experience a plus.
• Background or strong understanding of A/V and event production
• Strong ability to juggle multiple projects and events
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organizational, project, team and time management skills
• A sense of humor, tenacity, & grace under pressure
• Fluent in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, and especially, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Passion for the videogame industry and drive to have a career in Game Marketing.
• Travel may be required
