Overview
Responsible for the processing, monitoring, analyzing reporting and accuracy of all Canon Solutions America owned inventory including 3rd party. Creates, administers, analyzes and reports on all cycle counts and physical inventories in accordance with established guidelines. Manages adjustments and scraps according to guidelines established by Finance. Resolves all errors on inventory transactions. Maintains system accuracy for all inventory including 3rd party. Monitors, resolves and reports on all slow moving and obsolete inventory. Works independently with minimal supervision. Communicates with management and all internal and external auditors; pass all process audits.
Responsibilities
• Performs analysis on inventory levels, aging and obsolescence. Identify problem areas and recommend corrective action. Complete all inventory clean-up actions.
• Generates monthly dashboards/reports, analyze data and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Processes and monitors all inventory transactions within assigned responsibilities and locations. Identifies any issues and recommends corrective action to improve inventory performance and utilization.
• Initiates, conducts and reports on all cycle count and physical inventories at all assigned locations and coordinates all adjustments. Identifies root cause of all inventory adjustments.
• Resolves all errors and/or exceptions on any sales or internal orders, inbound and outbound Purchase orders, and transfers.
• Ensures accuracy of all showroom inventory and the Used Equipment website. Resolves all discrepancies.
• Monitors and reports to the various departments on all inventory status including cycle count/physical inventory results, damage/defective inventory, trials/loan/service exchanges, CFS returns and wholesale. Recommends any corrective action.
• Coordinates and reports on all field returns and initiates and monitors all credit activities. Resolves all issues.
• Assists in department training and support of internal audit groups as requested.
• Identifies process improvements to management and implements as required.
• Maximizes inventory accuracy with minimal adjustments. Maintains optimal inventory levels. Analyzes data, publishes reports and recommends corrective action for all areas.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Degree in the field of Business, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Inventory control experience as an analyst.
• Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills including Macros, Filters, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc. MRP/ERP experience a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills, attention to detail and advance problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
