Position Overview
The Localization Program Manager will be responsible for meeting our customer requirements in language solutions by engaging with internal customers including product and/or marketing teams, functional groups, vendor partners, and delivering a successful localization program.

Responsibilities
• Function as a business partner with internal stakeholders by driving the implementation of optimal workflows and defining localization strategies for your program. Represent Localization Solutions, providing recommendations, and evangelizing the vision of the Localization Solutions organization
• Determine localization requirements in terms of scope and milestones and drive high level project planning from an early phase
• Manage program cost within your localization program. Be an advanced user of an in-house cost management system for cost analysis and reporting. Make sure spending/projection is accurate and reported to management/stakeholders in a timely manner
• Establish positive communication among internal customers, functional groups, and external vendors to identify potential issues and effectively remove barriers to localization program success. Drive escalation to resolution, if needed
• Monitor and analyze performance of vendor partners through evaluations and other KPIs; monitor and enforce applicable requirements
• Drive a project and program retrospective with product and/or marketing teams, functional groups, and vendor partners to optimize program effectiveness
• Engage in cross-functional or corporate initiatives to represent localization and influence the stakeholders for continuous process improvement
Minimum Qualifications
• BA/BS or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in localization program management or project management in a high-technology environment
• Experienced with cost management principles and tools
• Strong knowledge and experience with localization tools/processes, cross-industry marketing complexities, release processes, etc.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with a wide variety of internal stakeholders and external partners
• Strong influencing skills with stakeholders
• Experience working with vendor partners
• Experience working on global teams
• Result-driven while inspiring trust
• Strong drive and ownership for your program success
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Ability to inspire commitment, energy, and positive attitude from teams
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint/SharePoint and familiarity with Confluence/JIRA, etc.
