Product Manager, Ad Formats
The mission of the Pinterest Ad Formats team is to build ad products that delight Pinners and drive value for advertisers. Formats built by our team include video, carousel, and app install Promoted Pins. As a Product Manager on the team, you’ll work with a diverse, cross-functional team of engineers, designers, product marketers, analysts, researchers and more to imagine and develop the future of Pinterest’s ad formats. This will involve creating brand new formats as well as optimizing on existing formats.
What you'll do:
• Drive the product strategy and roadmap for ad formats in close partnership with engineers, designers, product marketers, analysts and researchers
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and work with engineers to build, experiment, launch, and iterate
• Closely monitor metrics for your products to identify opportunities and issues
• Communicate your strategy upward and outward internally to ensure you have the support and comprehension you need to be successful
What we're looking for:
• 4+ years experience as a Product Manager, preferably including Ads experience
• Experience in leading teams, working cross-functionally, and navigating organizations in a highly collaborative environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to take complex concepts, extract simple solutions, and convey them concisely
• Extremely data-driven decision-making skills. SQL knowledge strongly preferred
