With 250 million+ Pinners and tens of billions of Pins, there’s a massive supply of data on Pinterest—one of the most interesting data sets in the world, and the foundation of our next-generation discovery efforts. The Partner Insights team couples this data with an understanding of Pinner attitudes and macro market trends to frame the opportunity for our advertising Partners who are making people’s inspirations a reality through organic and paid investment on Pinterest. We’re looking for a Head of Partner Insights & Analytics who will guide the vision and showcase Pinterest as a thought leader to both our Partners and in the industry.
What you’ll do:
• Work closely with Partner Insights Leads and Analysts to execute studies with topics ranging from consumer behaviors, vertical insights, ad formats and best practices, and larger industry trends
• Lead the development of data driven sales and marketing narratives via the definition and delivery of consumer behavior driven research about Pinterest
• Execute strong Insights stories that are inclusive of several types of data sources including internal behavioral data, qualitative and quantitative studies, and syndicated research
• Establish cohesive insights strategy and execution across your team
• Knit closely with cross functional teams, such as Marketing and Sales, to identify key strategic questions for the business that can be answered through Insights
• Grow the measurement science and insights organization by attracting and retaining strong talent
What we’re looking for:
• 10+ years of leadership experience within insights and analytics in the digital space
• A track record of thought leadership and experience in qualitative and quantitative research design
• Experience leading or growing teams in a hyper growth environment
• Experience working with syndicated resources like comScore, Nielsen, Kantar
• Leadership in creating and managing high performing teams that produce insights at scale
• Strong analytical skills working with multiple sources of data, and experience with SQL and other analysis tools to analyze volumes of log data
