Job Summary:
Supervise A/R Team
This position may encompass various responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
• Manage the day to day collection activities associated with a team of 6-12 commercial (B2B) collectors,
• Function as a mentor, coach, or trainer on the tactical routines of the team.
• Contribute to development and implementation of collection strategies to improve overall performance.
• Monitor individual and team performance to ensure department goals and service level agreements are met or exceeded.
• Monitor individual and team behaviors to ensure compliance with department and corporate policy and procedures.
• Contact customers and/or their representatives (related Account Executive, attorney, trustee, designated contact) via phone, mail, or email to resolve escalated issues.
• Negotiate mutually acceptable payment arrangements where necessary and ensure timely follow up on them.
• Accurately document comments/actions taken on customer accounts on the system(s) of record to maintain good tracking and history.
• Provide quality customer service to internal/external customers including, but not limited to, reasonable inquiries on credit/collection status, related information, or research.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of collection experience in fast paced, dynamic call center environment.
• Prior management experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
Education:
• College degree required.
