Role Summary
Reporting to the SVP, People Services, the Director of HRIS is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and integration of HR systems that are aligned with People Services’ objectives. This position will deliver on technical support strategy as it relates to functional areas of People Services. This role is key to leveraging technology to introduce efficiencies in People Services’ processes both within the team as well as through the business. The incumbent will be required to identify integration opportunities between the various systems used by People Services to reduce and eliminate manual processes.
Key Responsibilities
The Director of HRIS will ensure the Global Eagle Team delivers on system improvement goals and drives rapid functional issue resolution via the following:
• Develop and implement strategies to standardize, simplify and automate PS processes
• Manage the daily administration of the HRIS operations and PS Admin team
• Oversee data maintenance, accuracy and auditing
• Implement new features or modules as requested, which will Include design, configuration, testing and implementation
• Identify areas of improvement in system functionality
• Partner with IT to ensure smooth operation and timely communication
• Serve as the project manager or PS subject matter expert
• Prepare for and administer periodic system upgrades
• Test and develop added functionality
• Maintain security setup company-wide
• Create standard and ad-hoc reports
• Assist managers and other as needed to obtain or store information
• Build interfaces to external vendors
• Monitor system outages and keep IT informed of system issues
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Drive SOX audit for People Services
Qualifications/Experience
• Bachelor's Degree / Master’s as plus
• Prefer 7 years of previous managerial experience in human resources information systems
• Able to work with sensitive and secure information
• Strong project management experience
• Experience with Oracle Cloud, Fusion, Cornerstone and Taleo applications desired
• Superior analytical and critical thinking skills required
• Able to communicate effectively and develop communication company-wide
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
• Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
• Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
