About the Position
The Marketing team is seeking a passionate and results driven Customer Acquisition Manager. This role focuses on increasing newsletter membership base through the proactive acquisition efforts that drive both quantity and quality. This role will report to the Executive Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
• Maximize existing online programs to generate more volume, more efficiently (knowledge of Facebook, Google AdWords and Lead Gen/Co Registration and Programmatic campaigns is key)
• Research, review, negotiate and initiate new paid marketing sources based on expected consumer behavior and budget targets
• Identify potential partners to form ongoing shared marketing/unpaid partnership opportunities and execute quickly and strategically
• Assist in the execution of various partnership campaigns with a focus on driving quality sign ups
• Map out and test new creative, copy, landing pages and ad sets and continue ongoing optimizations based on results, business trends and industry updates.
• Work closely with Creative, Content and Project Management teams to continue to enhance and improve all aspects of acquisition process (from landing page through welcome email)
• Work with Analytics teams to help best determine CLTV (customer lifetime value) by acquisition source and use the information to inform acquisition strategy
• Regularly look to improve ROI based n tracked consumer value
Qualifications
• 3 to 4 years experience in a growth-oriented acquisition/marketing role
• Strong quantitative background and ability to measure and pivot efforts based on ongoing analyses
• Experience in online customer acquisition across platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - capable of clearly explaining your thinking to any level employee
• Analytical skills necessary to identify and resolve any anomalies and/or irregularities with data
• Ability to self-start, remain agile as business needs change and manage multiple programs simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Spreadsheets and data reporting tools
