Project and Content Manager - Strategic Sampling, GQ
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Content Project Manager with grooming/beauty and fashion industry experience to join the GQ Best Stuff Box team within the Conde Nast Style Division. In this role you will oversee the editorial curation process for subscription box product and manage cross-channel content creation (written and visual) for these products. You will maintain primary responsibility for the marketing KPIs for Best Stuff Box.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, resourceful and organized self-starter who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail are a must.
This Content Project Manager will:
• Manage creation, production, and promotion of compelling product and commerce driven cross-channel content (written and visual)
• With aggressive goals, collect, manage, and disseminate large numbers of product recommendations and editorial approvals from the GQ universe to fill the Best Stuff Box product pipeline
• Assist and manage production of editorial assets, including in-box collateral, email newsletters, on-site product galleries, etc.
• Liaise between GQ Editorial and Conde Nast procurement teams, identifying and forecasting prospective trends—and specific brand/product opportunities—in the grooming, fashion, and lifestyle space for the GQ Best Stuff Box
• Maintain primary responsibility for the marketing KPIs for the Best Stuff box
• Take a solution-oriented approach to supporting key partnerships with Best Stuff Box brand partners, influencers, and other Conde Nast titles
Qualifications & Requirements:
• 4-year bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years related eCommerce and/or editorial experience
• Strong editing/writing skills with attention to detail
• Project management experience including direct responsibility for managing large, multi-team projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with tight timelines while also ensuring accuracy of work through planning and organization
• Familiar with SEO and social best practices and ability to balance SEO/affiliate/social KPIs with editorial standards
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and matrixed organization
• Ability to interpret data and use digital analytics tools
• Team player with a solution-oriented, “no job is too small” attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive and pivot in innovative environment
• Ecommerce and/or startup experience a plus
• Copywriting skills a major plus
