GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Human Resources Generalist I is a position that works on system reporting, employee relations, performance management, and other HR projects. This position serves as the first point-of-contact for system users and is responsible for performing other administrative support duties for the HR team as needed.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and responds to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests.
• Conduct data analysis on HR data as directed as well as prepares reports, graphs, charts and statistics in support of human resources operations.
• Assist in bi-annual performance review process including review assignment, monitoring of status, and content review
• Provide assistance and support for special projects including, Affirmative Action, Service Awards, etc.
• Assist in employee relations matters
• Manages all offboarding for Corporate office, conduct exit interviews and input into HRIS system.
• Confirm accuracy and integrity of all data entered, maintains data in HRIS systems and databases and assures information is available on a timely basis.
• Completes other duties as assigned and requested.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years prior experience within a Human Resources function
• Developed computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
• Must be willing to learn, have strong initiative, and a drive for success.
• Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and superior analytical abilities.
• Must be able to work efficiently both independently and as a member of a team.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Desire to work with data in a human resources capacity.
• Must have proven aptitude for math and statistics.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Work is primarily sedentary; however, occasional handling of small objects (up to approx. 10 lbs.), and occasional walking or standing may be required.
