Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to build, launch, and service robust search advertising campaigns for TEGNA Marketing Solutions clients. The individual is responsible for the entire lifestyle of the Search Advertising client and campaign including the order onboarding, campaign strategy development, campaign building, monitoring, ongoing optimization, revision/maintenance and delivering of reporting data. The role includes both communication and service of our clients to the sale and support staff, plus the fulfillment of the campaigns within the search channels and platforms. There will be a strong emphasis on communication and campaign performance at each client life cycle interval for excellent client relationships and client revenue through delivering client and sales/support staff satisfaction, along with meeting client objective and performance KPIs. The position works independently making critical decisions based on their own analysis and professional experience.
• Onboard, Build and launch robust search advertising campaigns, including application of adavanced techniques, technical installments and sophisticated account structures.
• Monitor and optimize towards client objectives and produce revisions/maintenance to existing search advertising campaigns utilizing independant and critical thinking skills.
• Provide regular cadence communications to sales and support staff (and sometimes clients) regarding campaign strategy and performance reporting.
• Provide and deliver reporting data and strategic consultation to sales and support staff on a regular cadence and as requested.
• Stay ontop of industry changes, implement new tactics and consult leadership and Marketing team on changes that require communications and product line impacts.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
• BS/BA degree of equivalent work experience; HS Diploma/GED required.
• 4-5 years of digital account and campaign management experience within Search Advertising.
• Demonstrated history of successfully managing multiple (simultaneously) digital advertising campaigns in search channels.
• 1-2 years of experience working with Social Ads, Digital Display, Pre-Roll and/or other Digital Advertising media.
• Ability to act independently and utilize critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effective through both voice and written word.
• Self-driven, goal-oriented attitude. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively and determine priorities.
• Advanced knowledge and ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Powerpoint.
• Proficient in Google Analytics and/or other website analytics and tracking platforms and techniques.
• Certifications in Google Advertising.
